Shelley McCloskey
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Shelley McCloskey has been our Executive Vice President of Human Resources since January 2022 and has been leading our HR department since she joined Xenon in September 2019. Prior to joining our team, she was the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration at Aquinox Pharmaceuticals. From 2010 to 2015, she served as VP of Human Resources at STEMCELL Technologies Inc., Canada’s largest life sciences company. Earlier, she was the VP of Human Resources at Xantrex Technology Inc., a global renewable energy and power electronics company, and the biotechnology company Inex Pharmaceuticals Inc. Shelley holds a BA in psychology and an Education Diploma from the University of British Columbia.
