How we hire

At Xenon, we are focused on building a diverse team driven by passion and scientific curiosity. Our hiring process is designed to identify top talent who advance our mission and positively impact our culture, and who value collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Interview process

Our interview process is designed to give candidates and interviewers an opportunity to build rapport, learn more about Xenon’s strategy and objectives, and explore how the role and candidate’s experience align. Interviews may include a panel interview with key stakeholders, a presentation, and additional interviews with future colleagues across the company.

Feedback and communication

Candidates advancing through the process will receive updates on the status of their application. We strive to be as timely and responsive as possible.

You’re hired!

Our onboarding activities include New Hire Orientation sessions that cover information about the Company, as well as various programs, policies, processes, and expectations. As a new employee, you are provided with tools and resources to ensure you hit the ground running.

Some ways to identify recruitment fraud and scams include:

Xenon will never ask for any fee or financial commitment from a candidate at any stage of the recruitment process
Fraudulent job offers often ask for financial or personal information early in the process. The Xenon recruitment team does not request sensitive personal information, like bank account details, tax forms, or credit card information, as part of the recruitment process
Be wary of unsolicited communications from an individual or websites with which you are unfamiliar, or whose domain name is inconsistent with the actual business
Be wary of correspondence from free email accounts, like Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail. The recruitment team will not solicit candidates through a non-Xenon email address (correct domain should be Xenon-Pharma.com)
Be wary of communications that do not include information about a specific job opening (or the job description is vague) and/or extends a job offer without an interview

Please be cautious as your job search progresses and be on alert for these types of fraudulent recruitment activities.

Xenon bears no responsibility for the actions of either the fraudsters or the victims, and any loss/injury arising therefrom. If you believe you have been a victim of recruitment fraud, we encourage you to file a report with the relevant law enforcement agencies in your jurisdiction.
